Great food, great location, friendly service, great with children

Very tasty, food was there quickly, everything was fresh and also reasonably priced. The portions are also quite large. Gladly again:)

Unfortunately, all three dishes we ordered were too salty, even the children's dish. That was a little too much salt. Otherwise everything was fine.

Very good and inexpensive regional cuisine. Large portions. Whoever eats a soup beforehand or intends to order a dessert should forego ".... full" dishes. I had had enough of the pork knuckle and only managed the 1, because it was large and with a lot of meat on it, as well as 2 dumplings ... Great crust. Better to eat the knuckle like Asterix and Obelix did, by hand. The next day: Leberkäs with potato salad also a big portion and tasty. The next table was probably extra wg. "Gröstl full", but only managed 2 servings each, one with a bang 3 ... So highly recommended for food, if you like hearty home-style food, this is the right place. Overnight stay: Room okay. Well suited for 1 night or long weekend, Breakfast was very simple and little, but still sufficient, choice, but nobody got up from the table hungry. Price-performance ratio is very good for lunch and dinner. Hotel room and breakfast good considering the price. Unfortunately no personal contact with the guests. Everything a bit too professional and handling. We will be happy to come back for dinner!

Very tasty food and very good beer. As the name suggests, there are delicious shank dishes here and of course I also tried one of them. The beer garden is great and there are a few animals next to the restaurant which the children can watch. (Rabbits, goats, etc.)

Went there with 4 adults and 1 toddler to eat, the little one had spaetzle with cream sauce and was enthusiastic. 1 time schnitzel with mushrooms was also good then 2 times turkey medallions were also great but then 1 time spare ribs people it doesn't work so steamed crispy or great in taste Do yourself and others a favor and stick with your knuckles, you can at least make them and they taste great

I've been going to eat there for years and I still love it! The house beer is "drinkable" and so are the spare ribs. Thanks see you next time. Recommendable.

Very good kitchen, super friendly staff. Everyone will find something for their palate on the traditional menu. But the absolute highlight is the pork knuckle. Just a poem. Cooking is still going on here, like with mother. No frills and no flavor enhancers. In good Bavarian terms: just Guad

Very rustic restaurant with friendly service and delicious food

As a guest I was not welcomed with my children. Rather the opposite was the case. In times of Corona you should be eager to greet your guests in a friendly manner and to take care of their well-being. Was there more often as a child and a few times with my family. But today for the last time. You can eat much more friendly elsewhere.

Graciously and comfortably furnished. Very clean toilets, friendly service. Beautiful beer garden with a wonderful mountain panorama. The food tasted good, but still has room for improvement. Unfortunately, the Kässpatzen were without an onion as a side dish. After a short question, a sufficient portion was immediately brought to the table. What was really great is that we were able to leave our motorhome in front of the restaurant for the night. So we could still snip. The Willi and the apricot spirit are highly recommended.

Contrary to another comment here, I found the service extremely nice and easy. The food was very good and the beer garden is highly recommended in good weather.

The ambience is nice and rustic. Simply cozy. The rooms are simple, clean and functional. We can only recommend the food. We are happy to come back!

Large, clean, traditional rooms. Very helpful team, and a good restaurant and beer garden (I had supper there every night but Ruhetag (the day that they are closed). Large parking area.
